Austin Hand Group provides in-house hand therapy for our patients as well as outside provider referrals. In-house hand therapy allows for close collaboration between the therapist and Dr. Lown to monitor the patient's progress and to optimize patient return to daily living, work and previous level of activities. We welcome outside referrals from other providers that are seeking the expertise of our Occupational Therapist.

Justine Wool, MOT, OTR
Justine Wool studied at Texas Woman's University where she earned a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology in 2009 and a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2011. She is a National Board Certified Occupational Therapist and an active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Her strong passion for hand therapy led her to pursue additional clinical training in upper extremity care. Her goal is to provide patients with proper tools and guidance to optimize their recovery. As a native Austinite, Justine enjoys live music, painting, and spending time with friends and family.
Anthony Papp, MA, OTR
Anthony Papp, a University of Florida and University of Alabama graduate, completed his Bachelor's of Science in Occupational Therapy and Master's in Health Studies in 1996 and 2007, respectively. He is board certified by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy with over 17 years in upper-extremity rehabilitation experience. Following a 20-year career as a U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps Officer and Occupational Therapist, Anthony settled in Austin, TX and has enjoyed the continued professional opportunity to serve hand therapy clients with emphasis on providing quality and effective therapy services. Outside of the clinical setting, he enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing interests in golf caddying, woodworking, landscaping, and automotive mechanics.
